Interior minister of Pakistan Rehman Malik omn Monday gave an interview to Arab satellite TV and told about the US raid. The US raid which had shot dead the terrorist Osama Bin Laden was already known Rehman told however the target was not known. The operation of the US raid was made aware just before some 15 minutes the operations included US commandos along with helicopter. The raid was about 40 minutes killing the terrorist and taking away the body from mansion to military facility on May2.
The cooperation during the raid was between Islamabad and Washington and hence in the security field. Even though warnings had been received about the war over terror from US concerns Pakistan had given cooperation Malik said. President of US Obama stated how Osama had managed to live under the military of Pakistan for so many years. US president Barack Obama even stated that there must be some sort of support network between Pakistan and Osama.
After receiving a lot of pressure from Washington and Pakistani people prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani had to let the US raid. Ther has been growing mistrust as US has been allowed to access widows of Osama bin laden and get details about Al-Qaeda. Obama had given certain details regarding the link about Osama Bin laden and Pakistan to CBS television which was on Sunday. The support about the Osama and Pakistan is still unknown and whether the government has been involved and needs investigation. The main thing to investigate must be done by the Pakistani government Obama told during the interview.
