King’s speech gets 12 Oscar nominations

Films industry top honor include the Oscar nominations and which went on tuesday selected the British Historical drama The King’s Speech. The King’s Speech nomination for Oscar speaks about the George 6 and has beat Social Network and won the Golden Globes earlier this month. Among the 10 nominations True Grit which is a western Classic came in the second place while the Social network and inception won eight nominations.

The nominations will be for the coming future annual Academy Awards and will be held next month of February 27 says the related news. The King’s Speech actually was a late comer on the Oscar Race and had won just an Golden Globe Award and while Firth won the Golden Globe award. Firth the British movie was selected for a best actor in Oscar award and Helena Bonham is selected as best supporting actress from the movie King George. And for the best Supporting actress along with Helena Bonham includes Amy Adams and Melissa Leo for their film called Fighters ,Hailee for True Grit and from Animal Kingdom Jacki Weaver.

After winning the about four awards of Golden Globes award many were expecting Social Network to earn more Oscar Nominations but failed to. However the British movie couldn’t make wonders in the Oscar nominations and the reason given is quite different as the movie suites only the taster if about 6000 members. The Social Network was not selected as only it suited the views of about 6000 persons says Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Over a weekend the British Movie even earned a boost as it won the Best Picture Award at the Producers Guild of America awards. The latest of the show was the range of ceremonies which made up the annual season and all the announcements was made by last year’s supporting actress Mo’Nique.
