Volvo recalls 18848 vehicles from China

Volvo the automobile giant took an extreme step to recall many vehicles in China due to some deficiency. The main reason for the recall was the manufacturing defects which had caused many troubles to the users of the vehicles. The recalling of the vehicles started on Monday and will include many vehicles like Volvo XC60,C30 2.0,S40 and S80L models. The main recall of these vehicles will be happening in China as the defects of airbag,engine software and the cooling systems are there.

The recall of the vehicles and the details was revealed by the China’s Quality watchdog during a statement. A detailed report was being presented by the Xinhua news in China when the recall of the volvo was just being started.Xinhua even reported that the Volvo XC60 models was recalled due to the airbag assembly issue which could result in deploying improperly. The production of the Volvo vehicles was being started during January 26 of the year 2009 and April 14 of the year 2010. These Volvo vehicles was sold in the Chinese market and about 30 models were being sold and now is under recalling.

Volvo is recalling some vehicles like the C30 vehicles about 4,033 and 8,952 OF S20 vehicles for an engine up gradation.The engine up-gradation of the Volco will be a measure for the vehicles from preventing itself from certain conditions says the sources. About 5,833 vehicles are recalled by the Volvo company mostly the S80L models which were produced during the year December 2009 and recalling due to the cooling system problem.
