Another crucial step have been taken by India and US by implementing the civil nuclear deal. The agreement speaks about the nuclear fuel processing agreements under the accord. The deal was being signed by the Indian ambassador Meera Shankar and US under secretary of state William Burns. The deal was signed on Friday and the location were the deal was signed was the State department.
The deal will enable India to reprocess of US obligates nuclear material at the national reprocessing facility. A new national reprocessing facility will be established by India under the international Atomic energy Agency. The deal will be helpful which will facilitate participation of India in US firms which will expand civil nuclear energy sector. The US is at present waiting for the passage of the nuclear liability law by India which will help American companies to have advantage.
The advantage by passage of the nuclear liability law will give a profit of $150 billion (estimated) nuclear power market in India. The deal will create a deepening ties between both the countries said Shankar after signing the deal. Shankar said that India is looking forward for the arrival of president Barack Obama during the month of November. The two countries are working together to find answers to the global challenges and have peace and stability in Asia described Shankar.
