After a long time BP finished the installation of the new cap over the gushing oil well in the Gulf of Mexico. Many robots were being used during the process which finished yesterday night. The gushing well exploded during the month of April which affected many people.The oil poured under the deep water was even captured during the installation. The internal pressure will take minimum about six to 48 hours to stop the flow of the oil. The permanent method to stop the well will take atleast two months said an official.

The installation will however stop the gushing oil however it cannot be assured. The escaped oil may be worth 35,000 to 60,000 barrels.The new cap is known to be larger than the previous cap which had exploded. The process of clearing the whole well came upto $3.5 billion for the BP.v The new installation even depends over the weather of the deep sea. The administrration of Obama has however stopped the new drillings in the Gulf. A six month moratorium has been implemented by Obama administration.When the relief well installation fails the BP has plans to install new oil capture system during the month of September.
