Scientists have come out with a drug which tacks diabetes and halts within six days. A major break through in the world of diseases especially diabetes. Name of the drug is otelixizumb which is capable of stopping the rapid decrease of insulin.

The drug is capable of switching of the immune system’s mechanism which is the cause of type 1 diabetes. Further speaking the drug stops the damage of pancreas and allows the pancreas to produce its own insulin. The report of the drug appeared in the daily mail report recently. The drug is at its best when taken immediately after diagnoses with type 1 diabetes.

The drug can do wonders if taken as a daily dose for a period of six days. Type 1 diabetes is usually found in young people and occurs when healthy tissues are being attacked by the immune system. The healthy tissues sometimes may be the insulin cells produced at the pancreas. Certain kind of cells when altered by the drug can alter the balance in the body.
