Nuts consumption can reduce the cholesterol level

More nut consumption can improve your blood cholesterol level. The report had appeared in the Archives of Internal Medicine. The nuts have unique nutritional attributes which is capable to reduce the cholesterol and fat. We already know nuts are rich source of unsaturated fatty acid or rich in proteins and fat. The research has been conducted by university of Loma Linda; the lead professor was Joan Sabate. The research has been conducted by taking 25 nut consumption trials conducted across seven countries.

The normal cholesterol level and high cholesterol levels volunteers as many as 583 participated. The participants were asked to consume as many as 67 grams of nuts a day. The participants were tested and saw a reduction of 5.1 % reduction in total cholesterol and bad cholesterol was about 7.4%.different nuts had similar reduction of blood lipids levels.
