The Postal Service Department in US has reported reduction in the postal services sought by the public and had warned the senate that it might lead to disastrous loss in another decade or so. That is because, with the advent of technology and internet, people opt for emails and private couriers etc. One important reason is that people do not wish to usepostcard mailing services since they do not have enough time to write and mail their relatives or loved ones. Or why would they want to do that, when they have mobiles phones and internet where they can talk and also see their loved ones and also share files, photos, and videos. This have brought them much closer, virtually. Post card mailing services are only used when you have to send invitation cards or used by business people when they want to send mass mailers about their promotion or product or any such event to a large customer base. Postal services are only used when there is necessity to send large quantity of mails. When in business, there is a requirement to send mailers to all their customers and other general people , then the work is outsourced to people who provide services of filling the address and posting the mailers to the customers.
