China should grow more in 2010

World Bank has asked China to gear up their growth. World Bank has increased the growth forecast to 9.5 percent from 9 percent done earlier. It has asked China to bring down inflations. It also has warned China that a tight monetary policies and stronger currency should be in place to decrease the rising inflation in China.

The central bank has advised the banks to increase their reserve by retaining most part of their deposits. There has been massive lending done last year and to prevent a financial crisis, the central bank has asked to streamline the lending this year.

China had stated growth of 8% this year. China has been constantly defending its currency policy which has kept the yuan’s worth equivalent to dollor. The other risk that China is facing is the tight finances of the local government. But the same could be controlled by the macro position of the country.
