Bank of New York Mellon Corp may plan more acquisitions

The Bank of New York Mellon Corp or BNY may plan more acquisitions after it buys the BHF Asset Servicing. The BHF Asset Servicing is bought by them at $346 million. The deal is funded internally and the same may closed in the third quarter as per a reliable source. The combined company expects its volume of sales and customers to grow substantially and they expand their business in Germany.

They are also looking at more acquisitions in the coming year after a careful examination. BNY is the largest custody bank and the shares of BNY closed at $29.7 on Friday on the New York Stock Exchange.
