The citigroup former chief executive Sanford Weill blamed his successor for all the crisis the bank is facing.
He said that his successor Chuck Prince took many wrong decisions that lead the bank into major crisis. The former chief also said the higher risks were taken by Prince beyond what was needed, thereby letting its balance sheet bleed.
In another interview Sanford also said it was his mistake for selecting Prince as his successor. The speaking terms between Sanford and Prince is no longer happening.
Sanford is known for the way he built the citi into a supermarket bank.
Sanford has worked as CEO in 2003 and chairman in 2006.
