A new study has found that older women who did frequent exercise had sharper mind. The women were found to have cognitive function improved. The planning and executing tasks of such women improved the study showed.
The research was conducted among 155 women of the age between 65 to 75. The research was conducted in British Columbia, Canada. The women were asked to do balance and toning exercise for a year. After a year memory test was conducted on brain processes.
The women showed a large difference in their performance. The improvement was seen from 10.9 % to12.6% according to the research. Further the women were able to make decisions, resolve conflicts much more efficiently and confidently. The exercise further resulted in good health, strong bones and counteracts muscles in these women’s.
