Obama’s popularity is waning and he is only adding to the problem. He has approved yesterday, the sending of another 30000 US troops to the Afghanistan region to help out the NATO and US troops that are at the receiving end.
The decision to send more troops was anyway expected and nobody is clear on whether this is a right move. It is also important to realize that there are hardly any other viable solution.
