The Terrorist network in Pakistan is the pivot supply and training point for the entire world, the US has recognized now. So it has adopted a two pronged strategy to weed out the terrorist networks in Pakistan. First it is providing Pakistan government and army with three times the financial aid it has been giving so far, and second it is pushing Pakistani army to go on the direct offensive against these networks inside Pakistan.
Also , US is aiding Pakistani army in the Waziristan region with strategic inputs in terms of terrorist hideouts and movements which is helping the Pakistani army to effectively attack and destroy the terrorist elements in and around Waziristan. The offensive has to continue for at least two more months, and there must be no soft approach by the Pakistani army in allowing back terrorists to escape out of the attack.
