The tough times for US housing industry is continuing , if you go by the August 2009 sales growth numbers. The four month long winning streak of housing gains, have been washed out in August 2009 with a 2.7% drop. The reversal has shocked many analysts who have now requested the government to push for further extension and also enhancement in the housing stimulus scheme.
The Obama administration has indicated that the 8000 dollars 10% housing stimulus scheme will come to an end on November 30th.
