When I got my first car, I thought I would save on the car insurance. I decided to take the third party insurance and not a comprehensive insurance. I discussed my idea with my insurance adviser, who promptly dissuaded me against it. She told me to go ahead with a comprehensive policy and explained that it would cover both the damage to the vehicle if any and also the damage to the other party if any. Though I was not very convinced, I took it because the advice came from a lady who has been selling car insurance for her life.
I got the insurance papers and all that one day. I took those papers, put them in the dashboard, and took out the car. One minivan, which was taking some people out into the street, promptly hit my car.
I still wonder what providence made me take that old lady’s advice. I was saved because I had a comprehensive insurance.
The best method of knowing which car insurance is good for you is by doing a detailed car insurance comparison. It would tell you which insurance policy will give you what and at what cost so that you can decide for yourself.
