I was looking at different words. A few words struck me as interesting. They literally meant sons of their respective fathers. Do such words occur in any other language? I am not sure.

Let us look at few of these words :

1) Johnson. It literally means ‘Son of John’.
2) Robinson . Means ‘Son of Robin’
3) Stevenson. Means ‘Son of Steven’

Similarly, when I leafed through different words, I came across Benson and Watson also

Not sure whether other languages also have this intersting feature.
