One of the most selling word power books is aptly titled ‘Word Power Made Easy. By Norman Lewis, the book takes a clutch of words and simply traces back the roots of those words. In the process of tracing back, it introduces all the related words around it. Giving examples, asking questions and prodding the imagination of the readers, it makes a fine reading. It also introduces us to the delights of remembering and relating different words.

It is somewhat like a mindmapping technique that he takes his readers on a voyage of discovery starting from one root word, branching off onto another and then the other and so on. He does make word power acquisition really easy.
