As you grow up in the organisation, you need to develop the art of leadership. The leader is different from manager. Manager only manages a task. A leader has to lead his team. There is a big difference.

A true leader listens. He listens to the spoken and also the unspoken words equally well. He has to understand from what context people are talking. He has to understand the dynamics playing out in a group. He has to be able to add value to the group and at the same time be clear about the direction he wants to set.

A good leader asks for opinion from all before giving out his opinion.
