The Indian Premier League is being taken to the US. The International Cricker Council (ICC) announced that it loves the format of IPL and that it could be taken to the US as the next step in promoting Cricket as a game all around the world.

IPL has been a mega hit in India. Even with the elections on and with the Indian Government refusing to give security for the IPL, the IPL organisers decided to take it to South Africa and stage it. The live telecast is being beamed over to India and it is garnering good number of eyeballs.

The next logical step seems to be that of it going to US. I am sure it will be a hit there also!
