I guess that as long as we have birds and animals, we will also have the incidence of flu. We had the instance of the chiken flu last year. We also have this bird flu now and then. Some couple of years back, we had this ‘Mad cow dicease’ which is basically a ‘cow flu’. Now, we have this swine flu. This is the first time it is happening thorugh a pig.
I guess, next to go are horses, ducks and probably snakes since each of these come in contact with human beings and at least the ducks and snakes do get eaten widely.
Why is there a flu because of animals and nothing because of vegetables? Is it a good reason and time to start wondering about the goodness of vegetarianism over the non-vegetarian counterpart?
