We may not be visioneries. But in our own way, we all have dreams. To do something. To be something. To create something. The great visioneries differ in creating a plan and getting infrastructure and investments for that vision compared to us mortals who may not do anything about those dreams.

So, how to become visioneries?

First, articulate it. Simply write it down and take a look at it say one month down the line. See how you feel. If you reall are passionate, you should feel exactly the same way about the vision when you look at it one month down the line.

Second, put a plan in place. The vision is about 15 – 20 years down the line. It is not about tomorrow or just one month or just a year down the line. So, you should have a 3 year or a 5 year plan to set yourself as to where you see yourself at.

Third, make this plan into concrete steps and attack each one separately.

Fourth, put a tracking system in place and continously monitor yourself as to where you are.

This is what the greatst of visioneries do.
