We all need a place of shelter. Most of the times the place of shelter is our own home. At times it is someplace else but which really transforms us. Like a boarding school for girls who are problem children.

The problem children typically have different sets of problems. At times, the problem is behaviour related. At times, it is related abuse of substances like opium and so on. This might happen due to family related issues such as lack of love and affection from their parents.

Lack of love and affection also leads to bad performance in school, which again would build pressure on the already traumatic life of these children.

What would you do if your child had any of these problems?

One way to approach is to criticize and punish them till they reform themselves.

But, psychologists say that punishment only increases the amount of the problem. It does not cure it. For most children problems begin simply because there is nobody to guide them, love them and talk to them. Typically both the parents work. They don’t have any time for their children. The parents also may not spend enough time and effort talking to their children and understanding their needs.

The key solution is showering love and affection on the the children.

The house which loves them and takes care of them is certainly an angel house.
