The game is coming a full circle. The new US President Barak Obama is saying that the US forces in Afghanistan might talk to softer elements in the Taleban if there was an opportunity. He said that the complexity in Afghanistan is much more than in Iraq and hence more troops have been ordered for Afghanistan. He signed an order for sending another 17000 special troops to Afghanistan. Whether this will help US win over Afghanistan remains to be seen.
