When we bought a new house, we paid lots of attention to fitting it with the right kind of furniture. We went through a number of catalogues. We went to a number of show rooms and looked at a range of furnitures. We had to select furniture for every single room : drawing room, bed rooms, bathooms and so on.

The selection process for the furniture was very intense. Should we buy all wood? Should we buy wood + metal together? Within wood, what kind of wood should it be? All those questions had to be answered before we could select and choose the furniture.

The bed room furniture decision was one of the relatively easier one. We had to decide on a master bed. We decided on a platform bed , a select crono at that.

We were also very clear that we had to have the most modern bedroom furniture“>modern bedroom furniture. The right platform bed, the right night lamp at the bedroom, the right cupboards within the bedroom, all were decided in minutes.

The bed that we decided also had inbuilt cupboard which could take a few pillows and so on in it.

Similarly, we decided on the best of the wooden furniture and cupboards across the house.

It is a different matter that just the furniture took about 20% of the cost of the house!
