Pope Benedict XVI has made an emphatic appeal to Africans . He has asked them to rid their  continent of corruption completely. The Pope was speaking during a televised address in Angola during his first visit to the African continent. This was a week-long tour of African countries. The Pope said that with integrity, magnanimity and compassion Africans could absolutely and completely transform their continent but that would be made possible only if corruption is completely rid of. The Former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan also had talked in a similar way, saying that  many African presidents were running only anti-democratic regimes and not the pro democratic or pro people ones.
