Madonna has applied to adopt another orphan. This was revealed by a court official in the African nation of Malawi.

Madonna’s adoption of her son David was also very controversial. Now she’s back at it again. One more child and lot more controversies.

This time it’s Mercy a 4-year-old orphan, who already seems to have reached Madonna. A court case is scheduled on Monday. Madonna is apparently ready for this and is expected to be Mlawi for it.

Madonna’s life is very different now compared to the last time that she did the adoption. She is divorced now from Guy Ritchie. Malawian laws expect “connectedness to a family” as a fundamental condition for approval of adoption. Madonna’s insistence on going ahead with this adoption is said to have been a major point of friction between her and her former husband.

The issue here is that Madonna can provide a house with all comforts. But can she really provide a home? Can she provide a family?
