Indiana Jones has finally proposed to Ally McBeal.

Movie star Harrison Ford, 66, and his longtime girlfriend, actress Calista Flockhart, 44, became engaged after he proposed marriage to her. The marriage is planned to be over the Valentine’s Day weekend, People magazine reported on Saturday.

The magazine quoted sources close to the couple as saying Ford surprised Flockhart with an engagement ring while they were away on a family vacation. The celebrity couple have been together for 7 1/2 years. The wedding date has not been finalised. It would be the third marriage for Ford. Ford has done several famous film roles including the swaggering “Star Wars” space hero Han Solo and the rugged explorer Indiana Jones in “Raiders of the Lost Ark” and its sequels. Flockhart is  best known for starring as a lovelorn lawyer on the hit television series “Ally McBeal” . She has never previously been married.
