The outgoing US President George Bush is fighting in the senate to win over a 700 billion dollar bailout package plan. He says that the 700 billion dollar plan worked out by its economic advisory team in due consultation with the banking authorities, will see the US economy recover quicker than what experts expect. He also warned that any further delay in approving the plan will push US into a deep recession , which needs to be avoided.
