The US automobile industry has been struggling ever since the beginning of 2008, and by now most of them have exhausted all their reserve funds. It is not fair on our part to expect them to continue surviving on their own, because their sales have been crashing ever since 2008 beginning and have gone into deep negative growth in the recent months. With no credit flowing into these companies from their bankers in the last few months, they have been left with no choice, than to tap the government for immediate financial aid. They have warned that any further delay in financial aid from the government running into 30 billion dollars, will result in the loss of millions of jobs.
